The INMA Conference Outlook 2009 is about to begin
One of the seminars with which the International Newsmedia Marketing Association conference will begin today is the branding seminar. The speakers will speak about the importance of branding in the media world.
Many interesting speakers are expected to bring their opinions into the discussion. Mart Orts from the Media Management and Transformation Centre in Sweden will show how the brand position of the media brand can affect the advertising sales. Bernard Asselin, the Vice President of Marketing and Reader Sales & Service in “The Gazette” (Canada) will speak about what branding means for a newspaper, and what actions it should take in order to build and keep the good image of the brand on the press market.
An interesting topic will be brought by Dieter Rappold, a CEO of Knallgrau in Austria, a company that specializes in developing websites, portals, communities, weblogs, wikis and social networks for media companies in order to help them build a position of their brand.
The trends in newspaper publishing diversification and added value enhacements will be presented by Alois Pöllhubber, managing director of Ferag Austria, and Ian D. Fischer, managing director of Mortons Print Limited. A case study of “Oink” – the financial newspaper for kids will be presented by Ernest Henry, the owner and CEO of the mentioned newspaper. Patrick De Baecque of “Le Monde” will bring the detailed case study of “Le Monde’s” philosophy.
