INMA/IFRA Classified Advertising Seminar has started

INMA and IFRA members and practictioners of the classified  advertising business have gathered in Czech Republic on Wednesday, October 22nd, to discuss the latest ideas and trends in their business. Tom Corbett is going to blog live from Prague exclusively for forum4editors.com

Speakers of this two-days-long event include:

  • Gerald Coniel of Junkmail in South Africa who is to present a global trends overview;
  • Sharon Knitter who is to tell a story of her cars.com and how the mobile phone is taking over the way people buy cars in Chicago;
  • Joachim Vranken, Chief Executive Officer of Kalaydo.de, is to present its regional classified portal of German newspapers in Northrhine-Westphalia and Rheinland-Pfalz;
  • Angel Fernandez from Spanish daily newspaper La Vanguardia;
  • Diane Devriendt, Marketing & Research Manager, and Marian Kin, Editor in Chief of Vacature.com in Belgium;
  • Felix Erken, Managing Director of Junkmail in South Africa.

Just before the conference has started, Tom Corbett had interviewed INMA’s Inge van Gaal.

He asked her how the classified advertising market would evolve in the coming years:
